Elastic Inlay Pads
Neoprene elastic inlay pads can be installed along with the clamps and blocks in order to protect the cable jacket and to absorb to a certain degree variations in the cable diameter due to temperature changes.
Standard size for the inlay pads is 100 x 100 mm (4" x 4"). For smaller clamp models custom sizes can be supplied upon request.
Inlay pads can be supplied in 2 thickness dimensions: 3 mm and 5 mm. The cable OD range that can be installed on any given clamp model is reduced by twice the inlay thickness. For example, when installing 3 mm pads on the SE 75-100 model, OD range is reduced to 69 to 94 mm, from the original 75 to 100 mm.
The grooves on the inlay pads should be parallel to the cable length.
